After giving me allot of headaches behind the screen of the computer i have learned and i am still learning about how to create a blog from zeo. Now I’m going to help you learn and I’ll start by basically listing the steps that you have to follow to create a web from scratch.

Blog from scratch

Most of the strategies that I have discussed for making money require that you have your own online website. That is because a good website or blog can serve as a central hub for all of your marketing efforts. The site is a way of generating consistent revenue for your online money making efforts. Today, I would like to take a look at a few of the basic components that go into starting a blog from scratch.

1. The beginnings

Before the current web design platforms were developed, everything was done by hand ( Do you remember? ). The famous and predominant HTML language, HyperText Markup Language (hypertext markup language), was the one used to format a static web page that was what could be done until then. Through this code, programmers had to create the web in their head and then put it on the computer using undecipherable codes for any human (HTML is still the basic structure of every web page).

Over time, one of the first programs I remember that was used for layout with HTML was Microsoft FrontPage, which was included in the Office package when using Windows98. It was good to start and the results, with a little imagination, were satisfactory.

Over the years, other companies, such as Macromedia, designed an interface called Dreamweaver (currently belongs to Adobe) and is one of the most used programs for programming web pages, among others.

In addition to HTML, which is the basic language for creating a web page, there are other complementary programming languages that are what help the current web pages have dynamism. One of these languages is PHP (Open Sorce programming language) which is used by the vast majority of current CMS or “content managers” (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal) and is a programming language used for web development of dynamic content

2. Domain and Server

The domain is the name that your web page will have in the URL with which they can visit you. It is of the form and in the browser URL it is displayed as or as you prefer.

The server (also called hosting or web hosting) is the place where you can host all the content of your website. This is no more than a computer (computer) with better features than the “typical” we have at home and with greater security to protect the content of our website and prevent it from being blocked at any time.

The domain and the server are related to each other by IP addresses that are established on the server so that they can work on the Internet. These IP addresses are assigned to the domain so that it points to this server through DNS and in this way when you type in the browser you can see your web page online.

On the Internet you can find free or paid servers and domains. In the section recommended resources, you can find some articles so you know how to start with your project without having to pay anything or at least not much to start. What does it sound weird? But yes, there are and some use or I have used.

There are also many more professional and reliable WordPress hosting companies that are paid and, for important projects, it is worth investing a little more and be sure that your website will be in good hands.

NOTE: One of the best hosting companies, 100% in USA, that you can hire to start creating a WordPress project, is Speed2Host.Com. The domain and dedicated server hosting of Speed2Host are the ones that I will use during the development of this course so it would be advisable that you hire them with this company so that you can follow the whole course without complications.

3. CMS and Templates

As I mentioned before, CMS are content managers that make our work easier since they are mostly responsible for creating the HTML code and sometimes the CSS (style sheets) of our website. One of the most known and used CMS is WordPress for its easy use and attractive design.

Templates are the heart of the CMS. It is a package of files designed using rules to be compatible with CMS. These already have incorporated the HTML and CSS code that will appear on our website. They can be customized if you know a bit of HTML, CSS and PHP but normally they come pre-designed to install and use without you having previous knowledge, it’s that easy!

You can find free templates by googling a bit and also by paying. My favorites are those of Themeforest, which is nothing more than an online platform of professional templates created by various authors.

NOTE: One of the best templates you can buy to start creating a WordPress project is WP ASTRA THEME. It is a Multipurpose template (multiple purposes) so it is ideal to create blogs, pages and online stores with the same template and even in the same installation. This template is what I will use during the development of the professional WordPress web of MihaiDobre.Com.

4. Web Positioning (also known as SEO)

With what I’ve told you so far, very briefly, you could have a domain, a server and the CMS to start creating your website from scratch. But in what part of the 50,000,000 Google results will your website be when they search for it?

Here comes the fun of the matter, SEO. This is the “manual” procedure that you must do in order for your web page to be positioned on Google and may appear as a result of a search.

In this WordPress course you can find some articles related to SEO for WordPress that can help you start with the positioning of your project in Google.

5. Social Networks

Nowadays it is very important to know that, with the help of social media marketing, your web page created from scratch will start to have much more importance and gain relevance in the niche in which you want to compete. How to start a blog from zero

From now on, you can get an idea of how the process works to start creating your website from scratch. In this course I will give you the keys more detail of the steps to do it. The only thing you need is to have a lot of desire and not give up. In this world there will be images that can not be seen, letters of other sizes and colors, forms that are not sent but do not be worried that with a little help we will make your website work. Go for it!
